In the year 2290, a new Starfleet prototype ship, the U.S.S. Prime, is preparing to leave Earth for a three year mission. Spock and Uhura’s daughter, Amanda, is enacted into Starfleet and takes the position as the ship’s new chief diplomatic officer after she is thrown off of New Vulcan. But, before the ship can begin to take off, a Romulan probe begins to wreak havoc.
